Types of helmets
Headphones can be single or double-ear-phone models. Single earpiece headset is called mono headphones. However, the type double headset stereo (two channels of audio signals, one for each cup) or the same audio channel and ear pieces.

Compatible headset and pin adjustment
Not all headsets are compatible with all phone models. Telephone amplifiers
For older phone models, the headphone impedance is different from the original combination, which requires a pair of amplifiers telephone handset.
